HBO recently released the first look at its upcoming movie “Paterno,” and Al Pacino looks dead on accurate as former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno.

The plot of the movie, according to IMDB, is, “The film centers on Joe Paterno, who, after becoming the winningest coach in college football history, is embroiled in Penn State’s Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal, challenging his legacy and forcing him to face questions of institutional failure regarding the victims.”

I certainly hope this movie turns out to be a great film. It’s way too important of a story to tell for it to be anything other than outstanding. People should be forced to know what Jerry Sandusky did, and anybody who helped him should be exposed until the end of time.

The Penn State child molestation scandal is one of the worst scandals in the history of sports. Hopefully, HBO sticks the knife on the people that facilitated Sandusky’s horrific actions.

It’ll be very disappointing if HBO takes it easy on Penn State. “Paterno” is scheduled to be released sometime in 2018.
