The Milwaukee Bucks announced the signing of guard Jason Terry, 38, a graduate of Franklin High School in Seattle.

“There’s plenty of fuel left in the jet,” he wrote in a tweet, referring to his “Jet” nickname.

Terry, who reportedly has a one-year contract, spent the past two seasons with Houston.

He averaged 5.9 points last season, compared with his 14.3 career average.

• The Los Angeles Lakers signed Chinese forward-center Yi Jianlian.

The contract for Yi is one year at the veteran minimum of $1.13 million that could reach as high as $8 million this season if he reaches several wide-ranging incentive bonuses.

Yi, 28, last played in the NBA for the Dallas Mavericks during the 2011-12 season.

During the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Yi averaged 20.4 points and 6.6 rebounds in five games.

Barcelona will wait

FC Barcelona officials say Neymar won’t rejoin the Spanish-league team until after he plays in Brazil’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Brazil visits Ecuador in Quito on Sept. 1 and five days later it hosts Colombia in Manaus.

Neymar, 24, scored the decisive penalty kick in a shootout Saturday as Brazil beat Germany for its first Olympic gold in men’s soccer.

Pagenaud finished 18th after a crash and Power trails by 20 points with three races left in the season.

• A man who says he was the boy observed being sexually abused by Jerry Sandusky in a Penn State shower more than 15 years ago gave conflicting statements to authorities and was considered to lack credibility, investigators said during an appeal hearing in Bellefonte, Pa.

The man has settled with Penn State based on a claim he is Victim 2 and was seen by graduate assistant Mike McQueary being attacked by Sandusky, then an assistant football coach, in 2001. The man gave differing statements to Sandusky’s lawyers and to police investigators, according to testimony, and neither side called him to the stand during the 2012 trial.

The identity of Victim 2, and the man’s claim to be Victim 2, figures into the 72-year-old Sandusky’s bid for a new trial or to have charges dismissed because of a reference during lead prosecutor Joe McGettigan’s closing argument before a jury convicted Sandusky of 45 counts of abuse involving 10 victims.
